We are looking for a physician to join our 6 member physician team (which includes experienced GPs and recent family practice graduates starting their own patient panels) to provide weekly coverage for our physicians’ rotating weekly hospital duties.
Your schedule can be flexible week to week and can be augmented with Walk In Clinic coverage, if desired. Additionally the opportunity for you to join the hospital coverage rotation is available but not mandatory.
The clinic offers a 10-room family practice and walk-in clinic with MedAccess available in every patient room and has a team of 5 experienced MOAs and Practice Manager to support your work. This is an opportunity to be part of a team and have the interaction with diverse family practice patients, without the responsibility of being the Most Responsible Physician.
Management of the clinic is handled by the Saanich Peninsula Primary Health Care Society, a not for profit with a vision to provide a network of primary care clinics on the Peninsula, providing
patients with wrap around care with continuity between clinic, hospital and home-based care. The Society is committed to health education for both patients and health care professionals to
improve healthcare and inspire health promotion. The team based model encourages collaboration between doctors, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, dieticians – which in turn provides better care for our patients plus the added benefit of allowing a work-life balance for our team of professionals.
